About Us

At Citadel Health Center, our goal is to create a refuge of trust and respect where individuals are empowered to make their own healthcare decisions. We will help you achieve physical, mental and spiritual health.

Our Values

Jesus Christ is the Great Physician and Healer who we want to emulate.

All people are created in the image of God.

Informed choice is a higher standard than informed consent.

Individualized patient care is informed by evidence rather than reliance solely on guidelines.

Each interaction with your doctor should be motivational.

Wesley R. Eichorn, DO, RN

Wesley.Eichorn@citadelhealthcenter.com

Dr Wesley Eichorn is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician and a Registered Nurse. His desire to help relieve suffering led him first to a career in nursing and later to become a physician. His passion for helping people make informed choices in revitalizing their health inspired his dream to open this Direct Primary Care Practice.

He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Michigan State University and then completed a Family Medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in Obesity Medicine.

Wesley’s clinical interests involve metabolic health with a major focus on insulin resistance. Diabetes, High blood pressure, Obesity, PCOS, Infertility, and even many forms of cancers are some examples of conditions associated with insulin resistance. The reality is that many of these conditions can be prevented or even reversed by choosing foods that will supply you with nutrition and harness your body’s innate ability to regulate itself effectively.

While not at work, Wesley enjoys spending time with his wife (Dr Jevert-Eichorn) and their three children. He also enjoys gardening and exploring how Bitcoin offers a solution to many of the problems we face in the world. And yes, part of the idea of naming the center Citadel comes from the idea of starting Bitcoin Citadels. You can read more about Wesley’s interests about views regarding food’s role in health at www.foodasmedicine.org.
